Lake Antholz

Just a short distance from the Unterreinischhof, at the end of the Antholz Valley, lies one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps. Lake Antholz is the third largest mountain lake in South Tyrol.

Earth pyramids

A few hundred years ago, a landslide arose due to a storm, which formed the Earth pyramids by repeated washing away and washing out of the side slopes. The earth pyramids are located a few kilometers away in Percha.

Kronplatz

The Kronplatz is the local mountain of Bruneck and a well-known ski mountain, about 20 minutes from our house. The Messner Mountain Museum at the summit is known worldwide as it was designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid.

Staller Saddel

The Antholz Valley has a lot to offer. The Staller Saddle at the end of the valley offers a wonderful view over the valley and connects the Antholz Valley with the Defreggen Valley in East Tyrol.

Rieserferner

The Rieserferner Mountain Range offers spectacular scenery with superb mountain tours. The entire area is under protection and belongs to the”Rieserferner-Ahrn”Nature Park.

Biotope

A particularly characteristic natural reserve is the „biotope Rasen Antholz“. An educational trail leads visitors over boardwalks through this moor area with many small pools and swampy meadows.

Alpine Huts

In the Antholz Valley there are ten managed alpine huts. After a strenuous hike enjoy the wonderful view and the homemade meals.

What else?

A visit to the town of Bruneck is highly reccomended. Only a few minutes away is the Cron4 indoor swimming pool. The Puster Valley also has a number of exellent museums. Special offers and discounts are always available (Guest Pass)!
